Department of Zoology was established along with college in 2009. The T.Y. B.Sc. classes were started from 2011. Fully Fulfilment & Qualified Teachers as per University Approval.

- To develop human resource in the field of Zoology, Ecology, Biodiversity and Biotechnology
- To establish contract research facility.
- To undertake public awareness programmes related to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
- To develop study center for Western Ghats Biodiversity.
